  As a Vietnam I'm appalled by the actions of the Bobby Ray Memorial Elementary schools principal. It seems to me, that the this person had no idea of the relevance of Adam's patriotic gesture. He was showing his pride by saluting his step-brother's service. Many of the 101st Screaming Eagles jumped into German held Normandy, France on D-Day with Mohawk style haircuts. The school's actions only show, the school's staff has a total ignorance of history. How these people get to the position they hold is beyond me. They should have lectured the classes on the historical meaning of the haircut and what it represents.. Pure stupidity, send the "staff" back to school

  What a joke. Our school systems all over have a lot more to be concerned about then a haircut like why we’re producing the lowest educated kids in history. Distractions are a normal everyday thing so better they learn how to deal with it. Girls in tight pants are a distraction too so what about that. I’m sure if they were Muslim the school system would do everything possible to accommodate them.
